Pictorial language

Through drawing and painting, Eymric Moderne, known as "Moey," spontaneously creates dreamlike compositions referencing his daily experiences. In these works, he confronts the imaginary with reality; the flora and fauna he depicts serve as a tribute to the people and situations he has encountered.

Structuring his own pictorial language by addressing his subconscious: he

offers a lush landscape of thought allowing for completeness

with the environment around it.

Hymne à l'amour d'Eymric Moderne

A hymn to love, or a declaration of what cannot be said. A paradox of words without messages, or gestures without movement. A hymn to love for someone one loves without seeing, someone to whom one cannot express one's deepest feelings, hence "Perceiving without seeing, speaking without saying." But with the sure understanding that a "Flight" is planned for this learning of what Life is. Without being able to move freely, yet undeniably ensuring the pictorial gesture in the way of sublimating an environment. Living without breathing, the other without the reflective "we," the "we" that would prevent understanding that only one purpose remains: To love. Simply, to love.
