My mission
My mission is to celebrate the "Self"; also to gradually lead my viewer on a "naive" journey to warm landscapes and saturated colors, referencing my island of Martinique. Carried by the trade winds, I aim to feel "sensitive" to encounters, exchanges, and also to self-criticism, to criticism of those who resemble us, while also demonstrating an openness to differing opinions and artistic practices.
To justify my practice of drawing (at Molotow) and painting, I would like to describe this "Paradise Garden": paradise garden, guiding thread of my artistic practice and technique.
I also introduce gilding into my drawing in order to emphasize the state of sublimation of the self, but also of the body within a plant environment.

A colorful, "exotic" nature justifies our human condition, linked to our true selves. I pose the question of the body and its becoming within a given territory. All the while, I feel "free" through photographic self-portraiture and liberate myself from the alienation of body and mind by the Other. A non-critical political body. A sublimated body.
